How to Vote

Jersey City's Ward C City Council race is headed to a run-off election on December 7th!

Election Day

Date & Time

Tuesday, December 7th

6am-8pm

​

You must vote at your assigned voting location on Election Day. It will the same one as the November election.

​

DO NOT LEAVE UNTIL YOU HAVE VOTED.

​

Vote by Mail

If you have already requested to vote by mail for all future elections, no further action is required in order to vote by mail for the December 7th run-off election.

​

If you voted in-person (early or on Election Day) for the November 2nd general election, you may request a mail-in ballot for any reason by mailing a completed Vote-by-Mail Application form before November 30th.

​

Vote at the County Clerk!

You may vote in-person at the Hudson County Clerk's Office at 257 Cornelison Ave 4th Floor.

 

The Clerk's Office hours are as follows:

  • Friday, December 3rd, 8:30am-4:30pm

  • Saturday, December 4th, 12pm-4pm

  • Monday, December 6th, 8:30am-4:30pm


You will be asked to fill out the application for a vote-by-mail ballot.

To cast your vote, your ballot must be postmarked by Tuesday December 7th, or you can drop it in a secure dropbox by 8pm on Tuesday, December 7.
